The next generation of players showcased their talents as the first of the Scottish Ice Hockey training camps was staged at Dundee Ice Arena on Sunday.
Great Britain coaches Tony Hand, Martin Grubb, Richard Hartmann and Ian Turley shared their expertise with the latest batch of prospects in Scotland’s junior system.
The sessions, which were fully-funded by SIH, marked a welcome return to action for youngsters after what has been a difficult period for the sport in Scotland.
SIH chairman, David Hand, said: “We’re absolutely delighted to be able to offer Scottish juniors the chance to once again enjoy the sport they love.
“This year has been hugely challenging, but we are hopefully now beginning to see some light at the end of the tunnel.
“I’d like to thank the GB coaches for giving up their time and hope that every player was able to take something positive away from the sessions.
“We’ll be hosting more camps over the next few months and would encourage as many players as possible to take advantage of this excellent development opportunity.”
The next sessions will be hosted at Dundee on Sunday, 13th December, with youngsters from Lanarkshire Lightning set to benefit from the guidance of GB coaches.
