Scottish Ice Hockey is pleased to announce that it will be running a series of training camps for its junior clubs.
These will be fully funded by SIH and will be run by coaches from the Great Britain set-up. They will take place in both Scotland and Northern Ireland.
The camps are designed to ensure that junior players remain engaged with the sport during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
SIH Chairman, David Hand, said: “The current circumstances are extremely frustrating for everyone involved in ice hockey in Scotland.
“However, it is important that we do whatever we can to ensure that we don’t lose any players to the sport if at all possible.
“Our aim is to get the junior leagues back up and running as soon as we can within the guidelines laid down by the government.
“The training camps will hopefully provide players and clubs with a boost during these tricky times and we’re looking forward to staging them.”
Further details about the camps will be published on our website and social channels in due course.
