Goals galore as North Ayrshire youngsters continue to shine

North Ayrshire Devils maintained their unbeaten record in the Scottish U20 League with an impressive display against Ayr Bruins over the weekend.

The Devils recorded a 19-0 victory to extend their winning run to four matches. Lucas Correia picked up the MVP award.

North Ayrshire Predators secured a point courtesy of a 6-6 draw at Kilmarnock U16. Charlie Christie bagged the final equaliser for the home side, while Dylan Murray was awarded man of the match for the Predators.

Rocco Murray scored five for North Ayrshire Penguins as they ran out 8-0 winners against Ayr Bruins U12. David Turner was chosen as MVP.

North Ayrshire Sabres and the club’s ‘Learn to Play’ group welcomed teams from Dundee, Lanarkshire, Kirkcaldy and Ayr Bruins for their first cross-ice competition of the season.

There was some great skill on show from all the children, with everyone having fun and playing the game in the right spirit. Ruaridh White was the Sabres’ MVP.
