North Ayrshire Devils edged out by Belfast, Penguins keep rolling

North Ayrshire Devils slipped to their first defeat of the season in the Scottish U20 League as they were edged out on home ice by Belfast Junior Giants over the weekend.

Both sides played well in an end-to-end encounter, but it was the Giants who secured the points courtesy of a narrow 6-5 victory.

Ryan Campbell, Jamie Miller, Lucas Correia, Kyle Forsyth and Darren Easton were on target for North Ayrshire.

The club’s U12 team enjoyed better fortunes against their counterparts from the Giants, recording an 11-7 win to retain their unbeaten record.

Lennon Deeney (5), Rocco Murray (5) and Jack Malcolm got the goals for the Penguins.
