Title-chasing Dundee Comets could move to the top of the Scottish National League (SNL) this weekend.
The Comets are currently three points behind Aberdeen Lynx with four games in hand and will fancy their chances of moving ahead of their rivals.
They travel to face North Ayrshire Wild on Saturday, aiming to complete a double having triumphed 10-0 in the reverse fixture in February.
Richard Hartmann’s side play Belfast SNL Giants at Dundee Ice Arena the following day in a fixture that has been switched from Belfast due to ice time availability.
The Comets ran out 8-3 winners when the two teams met at the end of January and will be keen to take advantage of the venue switch.
The Giants are also in action on Saturday at Dundee Tigers. The Tigers triumphed 2-1 in Belfast during February, and this could be another tight encounter.
The standout game of the weekend is at Fife Ice Arena, as Kirkcaldy Kestrels go head-to-head with Aberdeen.
Both sides suffered defeats in their most recent outings and will be desperate to return to winning ways on Saturday evening.
The remaining fixture is on Sunday as Paisley Pirates host Kilmarnock Thunder. The Pirates won 12-8 at Kilmarnock in February and will expect to collect another two points here.
