Scottish National League (SNL) leaders Solway Sharks are in action twice over the weekend as they bid to maintain their 100% percent record in all competitions this season.
The Sharks visit Dundee Comets on Saturday, before returning to home ice to face reigning champions Murrayfield Racers the following day.
Martin Grubb’s side head into the weekend on the back of a 4-3 shoot-out success at Whitley Warriors in the NIHL North Cup and they will be eager to follow up with two more victories this weekend.
Aberdeen Lynx will bid to return to winning ways when they host North Ayrshire Wild on Saturday. Lynx were narrowly defeated at Paisley Pirates last weekend, but will fancy their chances of bouncing back on home ice.
Dundee Tigers play twice this weekend, travelling to Kilmarnock Thunder in the league on Saturday before playing North Ayrshire in the first leg of their Scottish Cup quarter-final tie the following day.
Kirkcaldy Kestrels host Dundee Comets on Sunday aiming to record their first league victory of the season. The Kestrels were beaten 4-1 by the Tigers last weekend, while the Comets triumphed 6-1 at North Ayrshire.
There is also one game in the Stuart Robertson Cup on Sunday as Paisley face Kilmarnock at Braehead Arena. The Pirates crashed 9-1 at Murrayfield in their most recent cup outing, but can move up to second in the southern section with a victory against Thunder.
