SNL preview: Title winners aiming to finish their league fixtures with a flourish

Kirkcaldy Kestrels will bid to round off the regular season on a high note when they welcome Paisley Pirates to Fife Ice Arena on Sunday.

The Kestrels clinched the Scottish National League title last weekend, but they have a score to settle with the Pirates.

The Renfrewshire outfit triumphed 4-1 in the reverse fixture and will be keen to complete their league schedule with another win.

Paisley can still claim third place this season but need Dundee Comets to lose against Kilmarnock Thunder on Saturday to have any chance of achieving the feat.

The Comets’ final league game has been switched to the Galleon Leisure Centre, which may boost Thunder’s hopes of taking something from the game.

Dundee Tigers are also in action on Saturday as they go head-to-head with North Ayrshire Wild at Dundee Ice Arena.

The Tigers ran out 6-4 winners against Wild earlier in the season and will fancy their chances of completing the double this weekend.
