Dundee Comets rounded off the 2021/22 Scottish National League season by clinching the play-off title over the weekend.
The Comets booked their place in the final against Kirkcaldy Kestrels with a comfortable 8-1 victory over North Ayrshire Wild on Saturday.
The Kestrels produced a dominant display in their semi-final against Dundee Tigers to secure an impressive 11-2 win.
Having claimed the league title a few weeks ago, the Kestrels were eager to end the campaign by completing the double.
They led 2-1 at the end of the first period, but the Comets battled back to secure a 3-2 advantage after 40 minutes.
The Comets ran away with the game in the final period, bagging three unanswered goals to seal a 6-2 victory.
Former Murrayfield Racers forward Joel Gautschi was the star of the show for the Comets, netting a natural hat-trick.
Aberdeen Lynx also ended the weekend with a trophy after claiming the newly-created SNL Aurora Cup.
Lynx triumphed 8-4 against Belfast SNL Giants on Saturday and followed up with an impressive 8-1 victory over Kilmarnock Thunder the following day.
Thunder had booked their place in the final after recovering from 4-1 down to secure a thrilling 5-4 shoot-out victory against Paisley Pirates.
However, despite an excellent display by netminder Thomas Mangan, Thunder could not repeat their heroics against Lynx.
