North Ayrshire Wild and Kirkcaldy Kestrels have announced their first signings for the 2022/23 Scottish National League (SNL) season.
Wild were first out of the blocks, with defender Luke Kearsley returning for his fourth campaign with the club. Kearsley will captain Wild this term.
The Kestrels were the next club to get in on the act, with Allan Anderson agreeing another year after skippering the team to the SNL title last season.
The Kirkcaldy outfit have also confirmed Ben Keddie has signed a two-way deal with the club, although the netminder will ice predominantly for Blackburn Hawks in NIHL1 North.
Elsewhere, several products of the Scottish Ice Hockey junior system have secured moves to Elite League clubs.
Liam Stenton and Euan Simpson have exited Solway Sharks to join Glasgow Clan, while Jonathan McBean has left Dundee Comets to sign a two-way deal with the Sharks and Dundee Stars.
Josh Hodgkinson will ply his trade in the NIHL National League next season after joining Leeds Knights from Belfast Giants SNL.
