Young forwards back for more as Kestrels keep building

Kirkcaldy Kestrels have continued their preparations for the 2020/21 season by adding two more young forwards to their roster.

Jamie Crawford and Jake Grubb have agreed another year with the Kestrels and will be eager to build on their efforts during the previous campaign.

Both players have progressed through the Kirkcaldy junior system, contributing to the club’s repeated success at that level.

The pair gained plenty of experience in the Scottish National League (SNL) last season, helping the Kestrels secure sixth place in the standings.

Grubb said: “I’m really pleased to be back at the Kestrels again. Last season ended just as we’d hit a bit of form, but it showed that we’re capable of challenging at the right end of the table.

“I’m hopeful that will continue, that we’ll be really competitive and maybe win some silverware.”

Crawford added: “I’m excited to continue my development with the Kestrels this season. I can’t wait to get back on the ice with the boys and try to get our hands on some trophies.”
