The National Coaching Team will be back on Zoom on 12th February (8.00 pm), to host another episode of ‘Friday Night Live’ as SIH strives to keep our sport alive during the lockdown.

Steven Lynch, Barry Carnegie and Martyn King will be joined this week by a very highly respected figure within the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) – Darryl Easson.

He began his ice hockey career in Canada before spending several years in the United Kingdom with Nottingham Panthers.

Easson subsequently turned his attentions to coaching, working in the Great Britain set-up at both junior and senior level.

He has since worked across the globe for the IIHF and spent time with the Korean National Program. He currently holds the role of Mentor of Education with the Hungarian Ice Hockey Federation.

Easson has previously worked with coaches in Scotland and SIH has had the pleasure of having him speak at two seminars over the past five years.

We are delighted that everyone in SIH – club officials, coaches, players and parents – will have the opportunity to join the webinar which includes a question and answer session.
