Scottish Ice Hockey confirms details for end-of-season events

Scottish Ice Hockey is delighted to confirm the dates and venues for its end-of-season showpiece events.

Following the conclusion of the regular season, the eight Scottish National League (SNL) clubs will participate in a play-off tournament.

This will start with four quarter-final ties – 1 v 8, 2 v 7, 3 v 6, 4 v 5 – each of which will be played on a home and away basis.

The four winning teams will progress to the SNL Final Four Weekend at Dundee Ice Arena on 23rd & 24th April.

The beaten quarter-finalists will compete in a separate weekend tournament at Dumfries Ice Bowl on the same days.

Each event will feature two semi-finals on Saturday, with the finals staged the following day.

Details for the junior Scottish Cup Finals have also been confirmed, with Dundee Ice Arena hosting the event on 16th April.

There will be four finals on the day at U12, U14, U16 and U19 level.

As reported earlier this week, the format for this season’s senior Scottish Cup has changed, with all eight teams participating in a weekend tournament in Dumfries on 19/20th March.
