Scottish National League season set to resume at the end of January

Scottish Ice Hockey is delighted to announce that the 2021/22 Scottish National League (SNL) season will resume over the weekend of 29/30th January.

This follows the news that Scotland’s COVID-19 restrictions are to be eased from next Monday, allowing large indoor events and contact sports to resume.

There will be five games played over the two days, with all the eight SNL clubs in action at least once.

The first games are scheduled on Saturday, 29th January, with Aberdeen Lynx hosting Dundee Tigers and Kilmarnock Thunder playing Belfast SNL Giants.

Aberdeen are also in action the following day at North Ayrshire Wild. Paisley Pirates v Kirkcaldy Kestrels and Dundee Comets v Belfast completes the Sunday line-up.

The revised fixtures for the second half of the campaign have also been confirmed and can be viewed here.

The SIH committee is working on details for the previously published end of season events and will reconfirm these in due course.

SIH would like to thank Paisley’s off-ice operations manager Jackie Turley for her help in organising the revamped fixture list.

Thanks also to all the teams for cooperating and working together on this. We look forward to seeing fans back in the rinks now the restrictions have been lifted.
