The NIHL North Cup takes centre stage this weekend as Solway Sharks and Murrayfield Racers go head-to-head in the semi-finals of the cross-border competition.
The Sharks claimed top spot in the group stage with a 100% record, while the Racers progressed alongside Whitley Warriors and Billingham Stars.
The two sides met twice during the opening phase, with Solway claiming victories with winning goals with just six seconds to play on each occasion.
Solway also triumphed 3-2 when the two teams met in the Scottish National League (SNL) at the start of November and two tight games are on the cards this weekend.
Dundee Tigers will bid to strengthen their grip on a top three spot in the league when they face Kilmarnock Thunder on Saturday.
The Tigers have won nine of their last 10 matches in all competitions and would move five points clear of fourth place with a victory this weekend.
Aberdeen Lynx host Paisley Pirates on the same evening hoping to climb back into the top half of the standings.
Lynx dropped down to sixth position following their 5-1 defeat at North Ayrshire last weekend and they will be eager to bounce back against Paisley.
The Pirates have made a miserable start to 2020, with three successive defeats leaving them fourth from bottom of the table.
Lynx are also in action the following day as they visit Dundee Comets in the first leg of their Scottish Cup quarter-final tie.
The Comets have returned to form in style over the last few weeks, beating Paisley (twice) and North Ayrshire in the SNL.
