The group stage of the NIHL North Cup concludes this weekend, with the final four games of the opening phase scheduled to take place over the next two days.
Solway Sharks head into their home and away double-header with Dundee Comets needing just one point to guarantee top spot in the group.
The Sharks have won all six matches in the competition to date and will be confident of maintaining their unbeaten record against a Comets side who are yet to pick up a point.
Murrayfield Racers also play twice this weekend, travelling to face Billingham Stars on Saturday before returning to home ice to meet Whitley Warriors the following day.
The Racers have already booked their place in the semi-finals, but will be out to gain revenge for defeats in the reverse fixtures against the Moralee D1 clubs.
Elsewhere this weekend, two in-form teams meet on Saturday as Aberdeen Lynx host Dundee Tigers in the Scottish National League (SNL).
Two successive victories have moved Aberdeen up to second in the table, but they face a Tigers team who are unbeaten in their last four matches in all competitions.
Lynx beat the Tigers twice in the Stuart Robertson Cup (SRC) earlier in the season, and followed up with a shoot-out victory in the reverse SNL fixture during October.
The Tigers are also in action on Sunday as they travel to face Paisley Pirates at Braehead Arena.
