
Kilmarnock Thunder 2 v Edinburgh Capitals 13
Edinburgh Capitals delivered a dominant performance on the road at Kilmarnock, setting the tone early with three goals in the opening period.
The second period brought plenty of action, beginning with a shorthanded goal from Thunders forward Mylo Wylie, followed by a power-play goal from Sean Stewart for Edinburgh. Kilmarnock responded with a shorthanded effort through Marc Fowley, but the Capitals answered back with three more goals, including an unassisted strike from Conner McNulty.
Edinburgh asserted their dominance again in the third period, netting six further goals to reinforce their position at the top of the table.
Aberdeen Lynx 8 v Solway Sharks 2
At the Linx Ice Arena, Aberdeen Lynx claimed an emphatic league victory over Solway Sharks. Sean Dyer scored twice in the opening period, either side of a Callum Smith strike from the blue line, to give the Lynx a three-goal lead.
Solway netminder Harry Campbell kept the visitors in contention during a scoreless second period, but the game opened up in the third. Callum Hill and Jack Hutton extended the lead before Solway pulled two goals back through Gordon Horne and Bailey Thomson.
Aberdeen responded well, with Hill adding a power-play goal before Jordan Leyden and Joshua Purvis completed the scoring. The result, combined with other league outcomes, leaves the Lynx just three points behind the Kirkcaldy Kestrels with two games in hand.
Kirkcaldy Kestrels 1 v Paisley Pirates 4
Paisley Pirates picked up an important away win in Kirkcaldy following a tight opening period that ended scoreless. Martyn Simpson opened the scoring for the Pirates in the second period before Ryan Parkin doubled the advantage. Allan Anderson pulled one back for the Kestrels to reduce the deficit.
In the closing seconds of the second period, Craig Peacock struck for the Pirates, giving Paisley a crucial two-goal cushion heading into the final frame. Early in the third, Simpson scored again to extend the lead further.
Despite an even share of shots on goal, the Kestrels—operating with a shorter bench—were unable to find another breakthrough as the Pirates saw out the win.

Sunday – Scottish Cup Semi-Finals (First Leg)
Two closely contested ties on Sunday ensured that both semi-finals remain finely balanced heading into the return legs.
Whitley Warriors 4 v Aberdeen Lynx 4
Aberdeen travelled south for the away leg of their Scottish Cup semi-final and returned with a 4–4 draw. Jaydn Baxter scored twice in the opening period to give the Lynx a 2–1 lead at the break, either side of a Whitley goal.
Penalties shaped the second period, with Whitley levelling before Sean Dyer restored Aberdeen’s advantage late on. The third period brought further twists, as Whitley equalised, captain Ben Edmonds converted a penalty shot to put the Lynx back in front, and the Warriors levelled again eight minutes from time with a goal from Ollie Jardine.
With the tie decided on aggregate scoring, the semi-final will be settled in the return leg in Aberdeen.
Dundee Rockets 6 v Edinburgh Capitals 5
A dramatic contest in Dundee saw the Rockets edge out the Capitals in a game that remained undecided until the closing moments. John Dolan opened the scoring with an unassisted goal inside two minutes before Edinburgh replied through Kyle Howie.
Rio Page restored Dundee’s lead before Joe Lynch levelled for the Capitals, and Conner McNulty put Edinburgh ahead late in the opening period. Both sides traded goals in the second to keep the contest finely poised.
In the third, Lynch completed his hat-trick to draw Edinburgh level before Michael Ireland netted his second of the night to put the Rockets back in front. With under two minutes remaining, Page struck on the power play to secure the win in a tightly matched encounter.
