A busy Scottish National League weekend saw five double-headers completed, producing a mix of close contests and decisive results as teams continued to shape their positions in the league standings.

Saturday Results
Kilmarnock Thunder 4 – 12 Aberdeen Lynx
Despite the final scoreline, Kilmarnock were competitive in the opening period, with Aberdeen holding a narrow 2–1 lead after the first. The Lynx gradually pulled away as the game progressed, led by a four-goal performance from Jordan Leyden, as their finishing proved decisive.
Edinburgh Capitals 6 – 2 Paisley Pirates
This game remained tightly balanced for much of the night, sitting level at 1–1 heading into the final period. Scoring chances were limited, but the Capitals capitalised late on, scoring three goals in just over two minutes to break the game open and secure the win.
Dundee Rockets 5 – 1 Kirkcaldy Kestrels
A physical encounter saw Dundee take control early with two first-period goals, adding two more in the second to build a commanding lead. Both sides found the net in the third period, with Kirkcaldy’s goal coming on the man advantage late on.
Sunday Results
Solway Sharks SNL 1 – 6 Dundee Rockets
Dundee completed a perfect weekend with a composed road performance. Strong defensive structure and discipline limited Solway’s opportunities, while Sean Beattie scored four times for the Rockets. Tomáš Výrostek netted the Sharks’ lone response.
Whitley Warriors 3 – 1 Edinburgh Capitals
Whitley extended their winning run with a controlled performance, taking a goal in each period. Discipline played a key role, with two goals coming on the power play, before the Warriors closed the game out defensively to end Edinburgh’s six-game winning streak.
Kirkcaldy Kestrels 11 – 1 Kilmarnock Thunder
Kirkcaldy produced a dominant display on home ice, building a commanding lead early and maintaining pressure throughout to secure a convincing victory. It proved a challenging weekend for the Thunder, coming up against two established sides.
Paisley Pirates 6 – 0 North Ayrshire Wild
A low-penalty contest saw both sides show good discipline. The second period proved the most combative, with North Ayrshire creating their best chances, but Paisley’s efficiency in front of goal ensured the points stayed at home.

With five double-headers completed, the weekend had a direct impact on playoff positions across the Scottish National League. Dundee Rockets were the only side to collect four points, moving into second place in the standings, while Whitley Warriors added another win to strengthen their position near the top.
