The puck drops this weekend on the Playoff 1/4 finals.

With the league games concluded and Aberdeen Lynx securing their second consecutive league trophy, the focus now shifts to the Playoffs. Over the next two weeks, all eight teams will engage in intense battles for their place in the Playoff Weekend at Murrayfield on April 13th and 14th.

The Playoff format pits the top-seeded teams against the lowest-seeded teams in home and away games. The winners will advance to the semi-finals on Saturday, April 13th. The semi-finals will see the top-seeded teams competing fiercely for a spot in the Sunday final.

This weekend marks the beginning of the Playoffs with four exciting matchups:

  1. North Ayrshire Wild vs Aberdeen Lynx.: The Lynx, accustomed to success, will face a determined North Ayrshire Wild. While Lynx have dominated past encounters, North Ayrshire’s ability to upset experienced teams this season promises an intense showdown.
  2. Kilmarnock Thunder vs. Kirkcaldy Kestrels: Expect a fiercely contested battle as Thunder and Kestrels clash on Sunday. With both teams exchanging points in previous meetings, predicting the outcome is challenging. Kestrels will aim for redemption after in their last meet.
  3. Dundee Tigers vs. Edinburgh Capitals: Tigers make the journey to Murrayfield to take on Capitals, who finished second in the league.
