With only a couple of weeks remaining in the regular season, teams are looking to finish strong in the league table. This weekend features a busy schedule, with both the Paisley Pirates and North Ayrshire Wild playing two games each.

Kilmarnock Thunder vs. Edinburgh Capitals – Saturday, Galleon Centre
Kilmarnock Thunder take on the Capitals, who sit second in the league. It’s the penultimate game for both teams, and after a couple of tough fixtures in recent weeks, Edinburgh will be looking to get back to winning ways. Thunder, meanwhile, will aim to put in a strong performance and test the Capitals.

Kirkcaldy Kestrels vs. North Ayrshire Wild – Saturday
North Ayrshire Wild kick off their weekend with a trip to Kirkcaldy. The Kestrels currently sit fourth in the standings but they have Pirates hot on their heels. There is the potential for the Pirates to take 4th place from them before the season ends. However, with a combination of losses and Paisley Pirates winning their games, there is still a chance they could slip to fifth before the season ends. The last time these teams met in February, Wild secured an overtime win—can they do it again?

Dundee Rockets vs. Paisley Pirates – Saturday
The newly crowned league champions, Dundee Rockets, host Paisley Pirates in what could be an entertaining match-up. When the sides last met, Pirates pushed Rockets all the way, forcing overtime just a night after Dundee had lifted the trophy. Rockets remain unbeaten in their last 15 games—can the Pirates be the team to break their streak?

Sunday Showdowns – Paisley Pirates & North Ayrshire Wild Back in Action
Both the Pirates and Wild return to the ice for their second games of the weekend. After tough match-ups the night before, how will they fare? Paisley have been finding their form in recent weeks, while Wild continue their steady improvement with a young and determined squad.
